Doctors clear Imran Khan to travel to Islamabad

LAHOREPakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s doctors have given him a green signal to travel to Islamabad after recovering from an injury received last month.

The chairman will be flying to Islamabad from Lahore to take oath as he was previously unable to attend the maiden National Assembly session due to a restriction on travel after his injuries.

A special plane was chartered to take the chairman to Benazir Bhutto International Airport. Khan was discharged from hospital on May 22 two weeks after falling from a platform at an election campaign rally in Lahore.
